This is gorgeous! I am so confused how the girl face image makes the black paint disappear when you take.her up haha. I'm sure I'll understand one day but seems like actual magic rn. I really like the finished print! The shadow on her face is a good thing So moody!!❤❤

I would recommend using golden fluids for gold application. It will give you more time on the plate.

Hello Shelly, Did you know you can make your own stencils with a Scan and Cut? You can use the stencil you have on a clean piece of paper. Fill in the open spaces with black paint and let it dry. Then run it through the scan and cut. Take that piece off the mat and put a stencil blank on the mat. Have the Scan and Cut set to cut three times so that it cuts all the way through the the design. I got my stencil blanks at Hobby Lobby. I love the way this turned out. Thank you for sharing.

Fabulous!❤ If you draw your faces on a flat surface they end up long. You need to draw them on a tilted surface or tilt your page up every now and then when drawing so the perspective is not skewed. I know this because my faces are always long 😂❤

Watching this, I was shouting at the computer, "no that's tartan" 😉 So I pulled out my gell plate and following your example, I laid down a base colour, then circles of acrylic ink, I used a comb to create a pattern, allowed to dry then applied a coat of gel medium for the pull. I achieved the marbling effect. Fortunately I have an early meeting tomorrow otherwise I would be up all night. Thank you so much for the inspiration.
